Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete your Nupo account and all data we hold about you at any time, using either method below. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Method 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open Nupo and go to Parent settings (enter your PIN), then:

• iOS: tap Delete account and confirm.
• Android: go to Account → tap Delete account and confirm.

For security you will be asked to sign in again first — with Google, or with your password if you use an email account. Your account is then deleted immediately.

Method 2 — By email

Email vishnu@internspirit.com from any address with:

• the subject line “Delete my Nupo account”, and
• the email address you used to sign in (so we can find the account).

We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email address and sign-in identity)
• Your saved setup: your child's first name, the owl's nickname, age range, chosen subject, the apps you picked and their rules
• Your profile record: account timestamps, app version, device model/manufacturer, Android version, child age band, gated-app count

After deletion, no account data about you remains in our database.

Product analytics. Separately from the account record, Nupo sends anonymous usage events — which setup step was reached, whether a permission was granted, whether a lesson was shown — described under Product analytics. These contain no name, no email, and nothing your child typed or answered. They are held by Google (both platforms) and PostHog (iOS only) and expire automatically under those services' retention windows. If you would like them removed sooner, say so in your deletion email and we will submit deletion requests for your identifiers to both as part of processing it.

Data stored on your device

Your parent PIN, your child's learning history (every question and answer), and the daily usage counters exist only on your device — they are never uploaded, so deleting your account does not touch them. To remove them:

• Uninstall Nupo, or
• Android Settings → Apps → Nupo → Storage → Clear data.

Subscriptions

Nupo for Android is currently free, so there is nothing to cancel there. On iOS, deleting your Nupo account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies.

Partial deletion

Apart from the anonymous analytics events noted above, the account record is everything we hold, so partial deletion isn't generally applicable. If you only want to stop using Nupo temporarily, use the pause switch in Parent settings instead of deleting.
